Red Dress Day Reflection Ceremony and Walk

On Friday May 3 hundreds of Jackson students participated in a reflection ceremony and walk in honor of the national day of awareness for missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, also known as Red Dress Day. Thank you to the amazing team from JL Jackson and Salmon Arm Secondary who organized this event for our community. We are also extremely grateful for the powerful messages shared by our guest speakers below, which included members of a Neskonlith family representing 5 generations!
