Year End Schedule - June 2026
It’s hard to believe that the end of the school year is only a few weeks away! Below is our Year End Schedule for the weeks of June 15-26 as well as other important information and reminders. Please note that students are expected to be in attendance for all classes until Monday June 22 (AM only).
Grade 10 Literacy and Numeracy Graduation Assessments
Grade 10 students currently enrolled in an English 10 and/or Math 10 class will write their Literacy 10 and/or Numeracy 10 Graduation Assessments on June 15-16.
· Students who have English or Math in Blocks A or B will write their assessments on Monday June 15.
· Students who have English or Math in Blocks C or D will write their assessments on Tuesday June 16.
· Student in Grade 11 who still need to write these assessments or would like to rewrite them, please come to the office to get registered for a session.
All other classes will be running as normal during this time.
Locker Clean-Out
There will be a locker clean-out just before lunch on Wednesday June 17. Students should take all personal belongings home at this time.
Final Class Assessments
Final class assessment activities will take place during the double blocks from June 18-22.
Year End “Coastal Carnival”
Jackson will be hosting our 2nd annual “Coastal Carnival” on the field for all students from 12:45-3:30 on Friday June 19. Come check out the exciting inflatable activities, Dunk Tank, Slip n’ Slide, or many other games planned for the afternoon. This is a FREE event! Participation earns you tickets for a chance to win some stellar prizes.
Year End Awards Ceremony
We will be holding our Year End Awards Ceremony on Thursday June 25 at 9:30am. Parents are welcome to attend.
Course Completion Days
Monday June 22 (PM only) to Wednesday June 24 are Course Completion days. These days provide opportunities for students who may be in a failing position to finish incomplete work. Only students with missing or incomplete work are required to attend.
Last Day of School
If students would like a printed copy of their Summary of Learning Update, they can sign-up in the office prior to Wednesday June 24. Printed Summary of Learning Updates will be available for pick-up before or after the Awards Ceremony on Thursday June 25. Families can also view and download a digital copy of a student’s Summary of Learning Update on the MyEd Aspen Go Portal after Thursday June 25. Busses will be running 4 hours early on the last day of school with the first pick-up starting at 11:33am.
