Track and Field Zones and Provincials

Congratulations to all of our Track and Field Athletes an a fantastic season! Both the boys and girls teams placed 1st at the zones to bring home two banners.

Congratulations as well to the four JLJ Track and Field Athletes that travelled to Langley over the weekend for the provincials. It was a fun weekend with some really great results! The four athletes were Aurealia Beaumont, Brodie Maclean, Vienne Bredick and Joel Giesbrecht. Special mention goes out to Joel Giesbrecht for coming in the top 8 with a personal best in discus and to Vienne Bredick for earning two silver and one bronze medal in the Triple Jump, High Jump and Long Jump. 

Finally, a huge thank you to Suzy Beckner, Alana Giesbretch, and Marie Peterson for volunteering to coach again this year. Go Jays Go!
