Tier 1 Girls Basketball Team Success Continues

The Tier I Girls Basketball Team had a great weekend at the GW Graham tournament in Vancouver! Some of the highest ranked teams in the province were in attendance which resulted in really good competition for our girls. Arter a first round win against Pitt Meadows 65-18 they went on to beat GP Vanier 40-34, before losing in the semi-final to MEI  48-52. The girls ended ended up placing third with a win against RE Mountain 44-34. Both Keira Cadden and Reese Major were named as first team all-stars! Host GW Graham ended up beating MEI in the final by 6 in over-time. Currently, GW Graham is ranked 1st, MEI is ranked 2nd, and JL Jackson is Ranked 7th in the province!

Come out and show your support for the girls as they host the Zone Championships on Tuesday Feb 4 and Wednesday Feb 5. Their first game is Tuesday Feb 4 @ 7:30 against Seaton. Go Jays Go!
