Good evening Jackson Families,

Please wear orange tomorrow, Monday, May 31, 2021.

In light of the news last week regarding the mass grave of 215 children discovered at the site of the Kamloops Indian Residential School, and in support of all Residential School survivors and in remembrance of those that didn’t survive, their families, and the greater community during this difficult time, Jackson will hold an “Orange Shirt Day” tomorrow, Monday, May 31.

If able, we are encouraging all staff and students to wear orange for remembrance and support.  In addition, the flags will be flying at half-mast to mark this unimaginably sad discovery.
