Last Minute Reminders
Dear students and families,
I hope everyone had a fantastic Labour Day weekend! We are excited to be welcoming students back to school on Wednesday Sept 7. This will be a full day (9:15am-3:33pm) for students.
Staff will be at school tomorrow (Tuesday Sept 6), however, we are not open to the public in the morning as all staff will be participating in meetings. Office staff will be available tomorrow between 12:30 and 3:00pm.
Grade 10 students are reminded to bring their locks with them on the first day of school. If you have forgotten your combination, please see the office. Teachers will have a limited number of locks to provide to grade 9 students and grade 10 students who do not have one. All locks used must be school district issued locks.
Over the past few days there has been several staffing/scheduling changes. As a result, it is recommended that families check their student’s class schedule by logging into MyEducation BC Student Portal or Family Portal. For help logging into the MyEducationBC portals please go to https://jlj.sd83.bc.ca/parent-portal/. Each student will receive a paper copy of their updated schedule during their “A Block” class.
For students who are not able to access their schedule online, student lists will be posted in the main foyer on Wednesday Sept 7, showing Block A classes.

Students wishing to make a course change request must attend the classes listed on their schedule until they are able to meet with a counsellor. Students without schedules or students missing a course will be our first priority.
