Jr. Golds Headed for Provincial Championship!

The SAS Jr. Golds put on an impressive showing at the Valley Championships in Kelowna this past weekend (Feb. 15-16) earning themselves a birth at the Provincials (Feb. 23rd to 26th), the largest national Jr. Boys Basketball event with 32 of the top teams in the Province. The Valley Championships consisted of the top 2 teams from each the Valley’s four zones: South Okanagan (Ososoyoos to Summerland), Central Okanagan (Kelowna and area), North Okanagan (Vernon to Revelstoke) and the West (Kamloops and area).
Vaughn McManamna was recognized as a tournament All Star. Players of the games also included Jonah Rivette and Leyton Boyd.
