Grade 10 Literacy and Numeracy Exam Lists Posted

All grade 10 students at Jackson will be writing either the Numeracy or Literacy Assessment (original letter home here ). Master lists of what student writes what assessment and when are now posted in the front foyer on the display cases. Both assessments will be held in the library.

Here is the rationale for which grade 10 students write which provincial assessment, based on which courses they are enrolled in:
– MATH = numeracy
– MATH & ENGLISH = numeracy
– ENGLISH = literacy
– NEITHER MATH NOR ENGLISH = literacy
