Hats off to our local industry for inviting our students to tour a state of the art plywood plant. Nine grade 10 students from JLJ spent half a day learning how a sheet of plywood is made from a tree. Students were amazed at how many jobs are involved from tree harvesting and plywood production, to clean up and shipping. These students certainly have a new understanding of career paths after this opportunity.
