The BC K-12 Curriculum has gone through a redesign process over the past several years and is being completed with the new Graduation Program.
To assist students and parents/guardians with navigating a pathway to graduation, Salmon Arm Secondary counsellors review graduation requirements with all students during the spring Course Selection Process. The Ministry of Education also produces a resources titled, “The Grad_Planner” that has additional information.
Local parents are invited to hear about the changes directly from a senior Ministry of Education representative. Pat Duncan, Superintendent of Learning at the BC Ministry of Education will discuss the transformational process of the redesigned curriculum, as well as the specifics of the new Graduation Program.
