On Friday, November 16 from 11-12pm, SAS-Jackson will have an assembly presented by Safer Schools Together (https://saferschoolstogether.com/).
This assembly will cover all things digital, from digital citizenship to the criminal consequences of cyberbullying. Some of the most prominent concerns surrounding student’s use of social networking sites and smartphones will be discussed. Other topics include: netiquette (online etiquette), the possession and distribution of intimate images (sexting), digital media habits, digital addiction, piracy and plagiarism.
There will also be a related parent information session titled “Raising Digitally Responsible Youth_ Fall 2018”, taking place on Wednesday, November 14 from 6-8pm at the DESC.
